the plate of the wafer type butterfly valve is installed in the diameter direction of the pipeline.In the cylinder channel of butterfly valve body, the disc disc rotates around the axis, the rotation Angle is between 0°-90°, when rotating to 90°, the valve is fully open.This valve is generally installed horizontally.wafer type butterfly valve simple structure, small size, light weight, only by a few parts.And only need to rotate 90° can quickly open and close, simple operation, while the valve has good fluid control characteristics.Butterfly valve is in the fully open position, butterfly plate thickness is the resistance of the medium flowing through the valve body, so the pressure drop generated by the valve is very small, so it has good flow control characteristics.Butterfly valve has two sealing types: spring seal and metal seal.Elastic seal valve, sealing ring can be mounted on the valve body or attached to the disc periphery.
